Here to help, anytime.

Open to give advice to anyone about anything. No judgement! Only the honest truth! You can vent, rant, confess, ask, etc… I listen and give you my advice!  xoxo

Don’t forget: there’s always someone willing to help, you just have to let them know.

We were the people who were not in the papers. We lived in the blank white spaces at the edges of print. It gave us more freedom. We lived in the gaps between the stories.

This summer: be yourself. Summer vibes are all about feeling beautiful and natural and unique and that’s what you’re all about! Don’t settle for less or go back to old habits. Do something new! Have fun, but be responsible and safe. This summer you should let the best of yourself shine through!
Anonymous: I'm a lesbian. I've been keeping that secret for a while but not that long. It kills me inside everyday that nobody knows who I really am. But at the same time I know it's not time for me to come out, most of my friends are homophobic and I'm just not ready. I'm going to a therapist for the first time soon and I don't know if I should tell him/her? If I should: On the first visit or later? How?

I just want to let you know that you are beautiful and you are so strong. It is a hard thing to go to a therapist, so I commend you. I absolutely think you should tell your therapist the truth, they are there to help you and full disclosure is the only way to get there.

As for your friends, do you think maybe it’s time to reevaluate your relationships with them? I think it’s more harmful to be with people that can’t accept the real you and pretend every day to be someone you’re not than being honest with them. However, coming out is a very personal decision (in my eyes it’s equivalent to losing your virginity), so make sure you are truly comfortable with yourself and your surroundings because no one makes that decision for you. You make that decision.

I hope that helps and if you need another outlet besides your therapist, Barbara and I are always here for you.
